HELLO, I'M SEPTEMBER
MY FOCUS IS ON YOUR SUCCESS
MY BACKGROUND
I’m thrilled to invite you to explore my skills and professional experience and get to know a bit more about me. Highlights of my work can be found on my portfolio page.

After being the General Manager of a small manufacturing business for seventeen years and a dedicated nonprofit volunteer since 2009, it has become crystal clear that my favorite and the most fulfilling parts of any job are always based in user-experience (UX) design; be it complete brand management, new logo creation or marketing materials, custom art for engraving, or even simple web maintenance. I relish in being able to create products (physical or digital) that are useful, easy to use, and delightful to interact with. A comprehensive brand design is a must in modern business, so reach out if you are looking to recharge your image or get your new business off the ground.

Long-standing work in nonprofit organization management. The pet welfare and rescue organization employees one paid employee, a small team of volunteer staff at both our thrift store, BAM's Orphaned Objects and our pet adoption and community outreach center, That BAM Place. The latter houses a small number of dogs and is home to a number of our programs that I have helped establish and market.
Because Animals Matter's complete rebrand in 2010 involved a number of logo mockups from various entrants with my pitch being chosen. A brand update (logo styling and fonts) was made in 2016, again with my designs.
